The Highway Department has receiving many phone calls about when seasonal weight restrictions will be posted in Wood County. Our staff are monitoring conditions. CTH N, between STH 186 and North Rd., will be closed beginning Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at 7:30 a.m. for a bridge replacement and will remain closed until further notice.  See Attached Map

CTH W, between 36th St and CTH U, in the Town of Grand Rapids will have single lane closure beginning Monday, June 23, 2025 at 6:30 a.m. for an asphalt pavement treatment. Work is expected to be complete the same day by 4:00 p.m.  Delay's should be expected, please plan accordingly and use alternate routes whenever possible.

Seasonal weight restrictions will begin being lifted on Thursday, April 24, 2025.  As a reminder the road remains posted as long as signs are still present.  Crews will start removing signs on the south end of the county and move north.

Wood County Seasonal Weight Restrictions will begin as follows:      South of STH 73 - 03/10/2025 at 7:00 a.m.      North of STH 73 - 03/11/2025 at 7:00 a.m.
