Due to icy conditions and fallen trees and branches, all Wood County Parks & Forestry walking trails are clsoed until further notice. We appreciate your patience as our staff works to clear the trails.
Tubing and skiing closed for the season.

Groomed ski trails as well as Powers Bluff skiing and tubing hills, will be closed for the remainder of the season. Trails are now open to foot traffic.
Snowmobile Trails Closing

Wood County is Closing all Snowmobile Trails effective Wednesday, February 11, 2026 due to deteriorating conditions. See attached Outdoor Recreation Update for further details.
Accessible Hunting Blinds

Wood County Accessible Hunting Blinds are available by reservaton for $20 per day during Wisconsin Deer or Turkey Seasons. Hunters are required to possess a Wisconsin DNR Class A, B, C, or D Hunting Disability Permit. Reservations can be made by phone or in person during regular business hours, Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm, at the Wood County Parks & Forestry Office.
